Died on 27 March 1770: Giovanni-Battista Tiepolo, Italian painter born on 05 March 1696. — He was the father of Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo [30 August 1727 – 03 March 1804] and of Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo [08 August 1736 – 1776]. His students included Charles Flipart and Francesco Zugno.
